Here are some simple
things that happen when walking is noticing everything around you, and
you are not obsessed with your thinking process:
Hearing laughter.
Watching the rain fall.
Holding your partner’s hand.
Seeing a dog in the street wagging its tail.
Watching a pigeon pecking at some breadcrumbs on the
pavement.
Noticing a seagull coming down to perch on top of a Chinese
pagoda rooftop.
Hearing a dog bark happily while playing.
Sensing a wave of energy flow up and down the body.
Feeling light and floating and calm after a hot yoga session.
Seeing someone smiling in the street.
Seeing the fresh new green colour of the pine trees after a
rain shower.
Looking up and seeing a crescent moon hanging over a brick
building.
Sensing the warm sun on your back as it rises over the
rooftops.
Seeing children with happy faces playing a quick game of
hide-n-seek.
Etc.
